Catch Me If You Can – The Art Of Remaining Anonymous

You might have heard people talking about proxy sites but not really known what they were. I thought I would post what I know about them to help you out if you have questions.

The first and most common type of proxy are free web residential proxies. This type of proxy acts like a forward for information from one computer to another. By using a web proxy you can protect your identity by making the requests that you send from your computer, look like requests send from the server that hosts the proxy. The downsides of such sites are many. They are usually having compatibility issues with certain sites and your real identity can be discovered by people that really want to track your online behavior.

The government blocks these websites and takes away your freedom to information, which many of us take for granted. This is a classic example of government censorship.

What provoked his outburst was Obama’s lie that Obamacare wouldn’t be offered to illegal aliens when he knew, or should have known, that yes, indeed, illegals would be covered.

There are ways for people to get into our computers, and therefore our homes and our lives, with a few simple clicks of a mouse. Keylogger programs and various tracing viruses make their way into unsuspecting people’s homes every minute. Internet tracing is not ALL malicious. Those of us who are internet marketers use it to to monitor our website’s traffic and try to find out a little bit about our customer’s demographics.

Question any permanent state of mind. If we really look at life, what can we find that is fundamentally permanent – even the mighty stars burn out in time. We can invent things in our minds that are permanent, such as God, or a soul, but are these only invented to placate our insecurity? Are they real, or are they merely a salve for wounded hearts that understand far too much about life and existence as we know it? Is heaven a state of mind? Is hell? Is evil and good? What isn’t a state of mind? Perhaps this is the destination of a road less travelled – a place beyond mind.

A proxy directory is simply a big index of proxy web pages. Many directories require you to have a link back to their site on your page in order for your page to be featured on their directory before you submit your site to them. If you want your page to look clean and uncluttered as possible, I would not suggest submitting to a proxy directory that requires a link back to their site on your proxy page. In my experience, this marketing strategy has brought in the most visitors to my sites.

To unblock Facebook I’ve been using 12 Vpn in China and it works great. It’s never dropped the signal, its fast for both western and Chinese sites, and it’s cheap. Lots of places charge 20 bucks a month…12vpn is only 30 dollars for one year. 30 dollars means you have 10,000 Mib per month which is plenty for most people. I don’t know exactly what that is but watching video and uploading things use more of it. I’ve never used even close to that amount and I often watch South Park and movies online etc (I am careful about signing out when I’m not using the internet). Thirty dollars a year is not that bad – less than three dollars a month and you can unblock Facebook in China and all that jazz no problem.
