Because when YOU look at yourself in the mirror, you see that front tooth that’s a bit crooked, the line where your bra presses in (you call this your “back fat”), the too-small breasts or the too-wide rear, your goofy knees, funny toes… The list goes on and on.
Consider your memberships in various professional and social clubs, like a golf course, country club or alma mater. Very often memberships can mean big discounts for special events held in their party rooms or on their grounds. If you aren’t a member of any of these organizations try asking parents or other relatives who may be willing to help you out by using their own membership.
Since my Benguet is a basket of produce and fresh picks, I am quite excited to go back to the trading post. The trading post is the weekly, even daily gathering of farmers, sellers and produce bidders in the province. Lots of tourists also take a look at the place, especially the ones going back to Manila. It s quite a rush to have some fantastic finds and bargains with fruits and vegetables.
The biggest reason that flash games have become so popular is simply: They are free. You can pull up a search engine anytime you want and search “free games” and you will be given thousands of websites that provide you with as much time wasting content to play as much as you like. I remember one little GSI vs. GIA in particular that got me hooked on flash games. It was called Warzone Tower Defense. I literally got so mad that I had to keep playing so I could beat the different levels. But here is the catch, you can’t beat it! I searched all over the internet for a walk-through and I found one! There was no stopping me then!
My objective on this vacation was to see virtually all areas of Maui. In addition to Kahului, home to Maui’s airport, and Wailea, near where I stayed, I drove to Kapalua, a dreamy destination where the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Bay Hotel and possibly the island’s best beaches are situated. I also took a bus tour east to Hana, where the scenery is dramatically different from Kapalua and Wailea. And I spent my last day in Lahaina on Maui’s west coast, a modest town with lots of hustle and bustle.
Today we followed the trail for the Battle of Front Royal a.k.a. as the Brother against Brother Battle. This pitted the 1st Maryland USA against the 1st Maryland CSA. The USA forces held the town. What they did not know that Belle Boyd, an eighteen-year-old resident, was also a spy for the CSA. When she heard that Jackson was camped outside of town, she overheard the plans of the Union and ran to tell him the information. The battle was one-sided.
We took a walking tour of the town too. Belle Boyd’s house is open for visitation. A docent gives a tour of the four-room house, in which she lived and tells the story of her adventuresome live. She was a very feisty and colorful woman. The Historical society has its offices behind the original house. Next door is a museum with exhibits of the history of the area. Front Royal was a POW Camp for the German Hessians during the Revolutionary War and later during WWII. Many German immigrants had settled in the Shenandoah Valley in Colonial times. The governor recruited them. The Hessians, though POWs, helped build houses and other buildings, some which stand even today.
